(Update for Monsoon 2025: Our cabins are closed with the rains here and will reopen around September)
Cabins
Our award-winning, spacious, ensuite log-cabins have been designed sustainably using Kerehaklu’s fallen Indian red cedar trees. The four cabins reflect the energy of our home and brim with warmth and natural light.
We emphasise a connection to the natural landscape and each private balcony allows guests to soak up the sights and sounds undisturbed. We don’t have Wi-Fi, and mobile coverage is limited - so we suggest leaving your laptops and tablets behind. Take this opportunity to unplug from the city and reconnect with nature. Our cabins do not require air-conditioning, as the climate of the Western Ghats is famously pleasant throughout the year.
Dining
All three meals plus cups of our home-grown specialty coffee in the morning and afternoon are served in the dining room. To help you experience the best of a family-run retreat, we avoid room service and encourage our guests to meet Raju and Bhagya in the dining room for a great meal and conversations.
The food served is typical of the Malnad area — neer dosas, akki rotis, kadubu, thatte idli, accompanied by a selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian curries.
We also offer homemade snacks at an additional price, based on what is in season.
